About Me

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Calgary and am a Registered Social Worker in the province of Alberta. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for trauma.

I was born and raised in Ukraine and came to Canada nearly 20 years ago, first as an exchange student searching for new experiences and a sense of belonging. Living between two worlds has taught me about change, loss, and the courage it takes to rebuild a life in a new place. Coming from a country shaped by a long history of colonization and now war, I carry a deep understanding of how trauma can be passed down through generations—and how healing, resilience, and meaning can still emerge from pain. I offer therapy in both English and Ukrainian, creating a space where connection and recovery can unfold in the language that feels most like home. â€‹â€‹

When you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to connect for a free consultation. Together, we can explore what you’re looking for and how therapy can help you move forward.

My Practice Interests

I am interested in learning how to treat different forms of trauma and how through talk therapy and therapeutic modalities, I can best help my clients improve their mental health so they can reach their fullest potential and live happier lives. I am very interested in studying different treatment modalities such as EMDR, CBT, DBT and mindfulness amongst others. Currently at my practicum I am seeing patients on my own which is pushing me to learn how to become more present and empathetic and to feel more comfortable talking to patients-clients. I enjoy working in the medical field. I am also very interested in exploring the field of trauma counselling and would like to have a trauma counselling practice at some point.
